| Natasha's Website : An Overview |
|
There are threads in my life that I'm using this website to record, explore and share with the world. At the moment it is all rather arbitrary what's getting put up here, but I do have a fair idea where it's heading as it slowly grows and develops. One thing that you will notice from this site is that nothing ever happens quickly in the world of Natasha Moorfield.
The navigation bar to the left shows all the main sections of the site, which I shall briefly describe for you below. Each page is divided up into a number of sections, each of which can be jumped to from the navigation bar. At the end of each section is an up-arrow which will return you to the top of the page.

One thing I see with many websites is that they appear as (sometimes perfectly) finished items and then that's it. The interested visitor, once having seen it, has no reason to return, because it never moves on. What I hope to achieve with this site is, perhaps, the exact opposite. The site you see here is certainly far from complete, and that is deliberate. What I'm aiming for is a site that evolves; one that will, in some measure, reflect my changing outlooks - picking up new interests and leaving others behind. I hope, as well, that it will change with the implementation of new coding tricks and techniques, as well as just plain better design.
My intention is that I will never be in a position to step back and say of this site that it's finished. That said, it's taken long enough - too long - to get this far. Although I have many plans and ideas, some may never come to fruition, some only slowly, while new threads may unexpectedly appear. The development of this site is intended to be an evolutionary process; one that will see the site adapt to changes in what I want to project from it and changes in what others may want to get from it. To that end, if you have any comments, suggestions or things you think should be here but aren't, then do feel free to drop me an
I would be particularly grateful to hear from you if you think anything presented here as fact is incorrect. |

Please feel free to email me with your comments, questions, observations or requests. I'm a little less hung up about maintaining my privacy than I was when this site first went live but, to avoid a lot of wasted time and effort, just be aware that I'm really not interested in sex with girls, boys or other t*girls. Beer, that's what I like! |
| Technical Develpoment |
The code used to create this website is intended to be fully standards compliant and a lot of it has been validated using the W3C Markup Validation Service , my browser of choice. The site is also, but far less rigorously, tested using Opera (another good browser) and Micro$oft Internet Explorer (because, for reasons I cannot fathom, lots of people are still using it.)
If you find something on this site that doesn't appear to work properly in your browser, please don't hesitate to ; if I don't know it's broken, I can't fix it.
Almost everything on this site is built out of hand-coded HTML, CSS, PHP and a light sprinkling of JavaScript. Most of the purely HTML code has been developed using the Coffee Cup HTML Editor. This and other web development software from Coffee Cup |
| The Colour Scheme | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I have used the following colour chart to pick colours for this web site, otherwise the colour choices have been pretty arbitrary. These colours are not compliant with the so-called "Browser Safe" palate. If, however, the colours you see look like shit, it may not be your browser or your monitor that's at fault; it may be just be the fact that I am alarmingly colour-blind!
