2009 in Numbers

What I got up to during the year to 31 December 2009.

The final data have been added and the database queried to show that 2009 yielded 1,370 new scoops from 99 different venues. This compares with 1,298 scoops from 78 venues in 2008. Although 2009 was a 'record' year for new beers (desperation creeping in, perhaps, as I near 10,000), it compares reasonably, I think, against the lowest annual total of 1,145 in 2002.
